Heading to: Ake Arts and Book Festival in Abeokuta (Nigeria). The festival dates are 17th to 21st November. I’m so excited. I’m on the panel discussion, Reliable Narrators: Blogging Africa’s Books, with Ainehi Edoro (Brittle Paper); Zahrah Nesbitt-Ahmed (Bookshy Books) and Emmanuel Iduma (Saraba Magazine). The discussion will be moderated by Katie Holmes of Africa in Words.
There is plenty of good stuff on the programme at Ake. Book chats, panel discussion, films and more. Ake guests include Nnedi Okorafor, A.Igoni Barrett, Dilman Dila, Tendai Huchi, Frankie Edozien Veronique Tadjo, Helon Habila, Dami Ajayi, Maaza Mengiste, Taiye Selasi and many more!
I’ll post updates on here and on Twitter.

Hi Kinna. I’m so envious. Wish I were going but we have some work-related things going on at the same time. Next year for sure! But I’ll look forward to following you and attending through your comments, so keep the tweets and posts flowing.
