  1. Hi Kinna! I don’t see a link button but thankfully, you belong to WordPress or something similar, which have easy-to-use comment boxes! I didn’t read near as many African books as I intended but finished four: two born there, one set there, and our classic Canadian author who lived there awhile. There might be one among the 151 books I read who was born in Africa. But with your challenge finishing December 31 and if we’re talking for fun instread of for prizes; I’ll leave it here. It’s tough to sift for the birthdays of less-known authors and on slow internet; it’s a pointless needle in a haystack, as much as I am a finisher. If you are reprising this in 2016, I will happiliy strive again to get all 5. Yours wishing you well from Manitoba, Carolyn. https://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2015/01/31/global-africa-world-travel/

  2. […] KinnaReads is hosting the 3rd Africa Reading Challenge and I had such a great time participating last year that I am in again!  Mosey on over to Kinna’s blog to check out the guidelines for participating in the challenge and see a whole lot of wonderful recommendations.  The challenge is to read 5 books by African authors or about Africa (at least 3 of your choices must be authored by Africans though).  There is a wealth of wonderful African literature to get through.  Last year I shared my Africa Reading Wishlist (updated and reposted below) which I’ll be continuing to work through.  If you decide to join us don’t forget to share the links for your reviews here.
