24hr Read-A-Thon: Progress

There  are over 400 people participating in this weekend’s read-a-thon.  I participated for the first time last year and it was a blast.  It’s been a bit difficult focusing on reading for the first 12 hrs. Family and other issues have distracted me.  But I’m still getting in some reading.  Update:  my read-a-thon is over.

Current Read: Still on Mr Happy and the Hammer of God

Thoughts on Current Read:  Loving it!

Other:  I’m off to cheer on quite a number of readers.  But I plan on finishing this collection of short stories.

  2. Didn’t hear of it perhaps it was for the best. I read less than 10 pages over the weekend. With all the baby-sitting on my hands. I am almost two-weeks into a 184-page novel I could have read in a day.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts on Mr Happy and the Hammer of God. Personally, I think it is one of the best short-story collections by a single author I have read. It’s thought-provoking, leaving off pieces for us to judge…

  4. Hope the rest of your Read-a-Thon-ing is as much fun as you’ve had so far. I remember “discovering” your site through last autumn’s event. I hope to be taking part again in the October slot!
